Time: 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Fee: $175 per dog
Ages: over 20 weeks old
Vaccines: Must be fully vaccinated and on flea preventative

Adult I Classes are intended for quiet, people-friendly and dog-friendly dogs older than 19 weeks of age to learn basic manners. The syllabus for adult classes is really quite straightforward and comprises controlling the dog’s energy and enthusiasm, capturing the dog’s attention, and increasing the reliability of responses. Initially, adult classes must be taught on-leash (bite inhibition is unknown).

This is a beginning class when you get a new dog or just need to learn the basics. We work on Sit, Down, Stand, Stay in all positions, Walking on a loose lead with , Leave it, Take it, Jazz up and Settle Down, and Watch Me.

Bring treats or toys, whichever is more interesting to your dog (or both!)

Several types of dog are unsuitable for Adult Classes (home training would be a better choice):
• Barking dogs are too disruptive in class and require and individual behavior consultation to teach "Woof and Shush" - require at least 1 home training class prior
• Dog-human aggressive dogs are too disruptive and potential dangerous in class and require an individual home training
• Dog-dog aggressive dogs are too disruptive and potential dangerous in group dog training class and require an individual  behavior consultation with our dog trainer
